India – Puri – Building refurbishment
Cobra and mongoose were involved in the refurbishment of a derelict building in a small village outside of Puri, India. The building allowed the various castes living in and around the village access to a meeting place when needed. The village borders on to tribal land which the land owner Satya generously gave to the tribal people. We donated sewing machines and computers for all to use. At times tensions arise between the castes.
